Countdown to V-Day: 30 ways in 30 days to woo your lover

We’re all about Valentine’s Day here at YourNovel.com. (How could we not be? We’re a husband/wife team in love in a business promoting love, and it’s our 20th anniversary, to boot!)

So, happily, we offer this Countdown to V-Day. Between now and the Big Day of Romance, daily we’ll offer you another way to woo your lover. Wild or mild, of course; in a personalized romance novel where you’re the hero and heroine, of course.

Hmmm. Where shall we start? How about with our very first novel, still a best seller: Does he/she love white, sandy beaches, swaying palms, the beautiful Caribbean? Then you can’t go wrong starring together in Another Day in Paradise.

One of our best sellers

Here’s a little teaser: (where you see red, insert your details – I’ve used mine and Fletcher’s):

“I can’t believe how beautiful you look. How can that be?”
Kathy smiled at Fletcher’s reflection in the mirror in front of her as she finished applying her lipstick. “You’re sweet, Honey Bunny.”
“No, I mean it.” ZBOY quickly closed the distance between them to come up behind her. Their reflections now smiled back, side-by-side from the bathroom mirror. “After everything you’ve been through, you’re standing here looking more gorgeous than I can ever remember. Really, in our 19 years together, you look more beautiful right now than ever.”
“Thanks for saying that, but, isn’t it funny? Just a few days ago, I was thinking this trip was the most incredible thing, that it would be so fabulous that everything else we had ever done would pale by comparison. And then…” Kathy scowled into the mirror, the memory still fresh enough to be painful. “Then, it turned into a horrible nightmare.” She spun around to face Fletcher and clutched him to her. “I was so scared,” she whispered, “scared I’d never see you again.”
He held her tightly. “I know, Beautiful. It’s OK. We’re together, and nothing’s ever going to change that.”
Kathy looked up into his mesmerizing hazel eyes. “Can’t we just go back to bed? Can’t you just hold me like you did last night?”
Fletcher’s heart melted at her request. Of course, he would love to hold her! He had stayed awake hours after she had finally gone to sleep to do just that. “I know,” he said instead. “I’d love to, but you know we’ve got this interview, and then the press conference.”
“I don’t care. I just want to get out of here and go back to Raleigh.”
“I know, and we will this afternoon, after this media thing.” He stroked her highlighted brown hair with renewed appreciation. Today, everything about her seemed brand new and wonderful, irreplaceable. “Let’s just get this thing over with, and we can go home. I promise.” He hugged her one more time before letting her go.
Kathy sighed, knowing Fletcher was right, but she resisted nonetheless. Despite sleep, she was more tired than she could ever remember. “I still don’t understand. We’re supposed to do this thing with Robin Leach and then a press conference, and we’re not even supposed to mention that I was kidnapped by mistake and you guys had to pay a hundred-thousand dollar ransom to get me back? I’m not supposed to mention that I was gagged, blindfolded and tied up overnight by two thugs? It just seems like those are details I wouldn’t overlook.” She knew her sarcasm was misdirected…

Intrigued? Good. In this novel, you two win an all-expenses-paid trip to a lavish, new Caribbean resort, but as you can see, not all is perfect in paradise.
